Mastantuono backing Chelsea ace Fernandez to join him at Real Madrid

Franco Mastantuono admits he'd like to see Argentina teammate Enzo Fernandez join at Real Madrid.

Chelsea midfielder Enzo has spoken openly about a wish to play in Spain and live in Madrid.

The Argentina international is interesting Real Madrid this season, particularly knowing he is unsettled.

Away with Enzo for Argentina this past week, Mastantuono told local reporters: "I would love for Enzo to play for Real Madrid.

"I don't know anything about his possible signing, to be honest."

On his own hopes, Mastantuono added: "I'm going to work very hard to be able to play in the World Cup. I understand the criticism I get from the public. I'm working to improve. Sometimes it's fair, and sometimes it's not."
