Cristian Romero has admitted he is “not having the best time” at Tottenham Hotspur as they battle to avoid relegation from the Premier League.

The Argentine defender did not hide his frustration but stressed the need to remain focused and rediscover his best form.

Despite his concerns, Romero insists he is fully committed to helping Spurs avoid the drop, especially with a crucial clash against Sunderland approaching.

"I’m not really having the best time there, to be honest. But beyond everything, I have to get myself right, I have to focus on the club now," he told Ole.

"I need to switch on the Tottenham mindset, try to get out of the bad situation we’re in and, like I always do, give everything in every training session, in every match, and try to move forward."
