Chelsea have reportedly held 'serious talks' over a potential deal to sign Werder Bremen wonderkid Karim Coulibaly.

Despite recent criticism from fans and their own players, Cheslea look set to continue their policy of hoarding young players.

According to TEAMtalk, Chelsea have turned to Werder Bremen’s breakout star Coulibaly as their latest target.

The 18-year-old has impressed for a Bremen side fighting against relegation from the Bundesliga, making 22 appearances across all competitions.

It’s understood that the German side are after a club record fee for the centre back, with fellow Premier League sides Aston Villa and Newcastle also tracking him.
