Marcus Rashford's future at Barcelona is reportedly in serious doubt with the Catalan giants forced to rethink a permanent deal.

The 28-year-old started well under Hansi Flick but has since fallen down the pecking order, starting 14 of his 24 La Liga games.

It’s been widely reported that Barcelona have a 326 million option to buy Rashford included in their loan deal with Man United.

According to SPORT, it’s now looking unlikely that the La Liga leaders will activate the clause due to their ongoing financial difficulties.

The report adds that the issue isn’t the fee but rather Rashford’s incredible wage demands, which would see them fall foul of La Liga’s strict regulations.
