Spain opened the scoring in the 16th minute when Fermin Lopez connected with Lamine Yamal's pass before finding Oyarzabal who fired into the bottom right corner beyond goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic. The same player doubled the advantage just before halftime receiving a through ball from Pau Cubarsi and again slotting home to the keeper's right for his second of the night.

Head coach Luis de la Fuente made seven changes after the break including handing a first senior cap to 22 year old Osasuna midfielder Victor Munoz. The decision paid off in the 72nd minute when Dani Olmo and Ferran Torres combined to set up Munoz who finished calmly into the bottom left corner to complete the scoring.

Spain will next host Egypt in Barcelona on Wednesday April 1 at 02.00 WIB while Serbia travel to face Saudi Arabia on Tuesday March 31 at 23.00 WIB as both nations continue their preparations for the global tournament later this year.
