France head coach Didier Deschamps has confirmed that Kylian Mbappe is fully fit and available to start in the upcoming friendly clash against Brazil, scheduled for early Friday morning Western Indonesia Time as part of 2026 World Cup preparations.

Deschamps stated that the forward could begin the match but would not be expected to play the full ninety minutes. He noted Mbappe could also enter as a substitute, similar to the other twenty-four squad members.
Mbappe's fitness had been under scrutiny after missing five consecutive matches due to a knee concern verified by Real Madrid. The twenty-seven-year-old attacker recently returned to action, featuring off the bench for Real Madrid in their Champions League encounter with Manchester City and in a La Liga fixture against Atletico Madrid.
With the World Cup approaching, Deschamps is evaluating optimal lineup combinations and has left open the possibility of deploying Mbappe from the opening whistle. The manager emphasized that managing player workload remains a priority while building match readiness for the tournament.
