Nico Schlotterbeck is reportedly set to extend his stay at Borussia Dortmund despite interest from several top European clubs.

Schlotterbeck, 26, has been heavily linked with a move away from Dortmund, but it now appears he is ready to put pen to paper on a new deal.

According to BILD, the central defender will sign a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2031.

It’s understood that he will earn around €14m per year and there will be a €60 million release clause that will be active in the summer of 2027.

The likes of Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich had all been linked with a move for Schlotterbeck this summer.
