Atletico Madrid striker Alvarez warming to Barcelona switch

Atletico Madrid ace Julian Alvarez is ready to join Barcelona this summer.

That's according to OkDiario's founder and chief pundit Eduardo Inda, when speaking on his regular Monday night spot with El Chiringuito.

"They tell me that Julian Alvarez would have practically decided not to continue with Atl9tico de Madrid," stated Inda, "because he considers that he is a top player and that he is not going to win all the titles he could win with the club he wants to go to.

"As everyone knows, it's Barcelona..."

Inda's comments come a fortnight after Barca president Joan Laporta stated: "He's a great player who, according to those who know much more than I do, would fit into Bar7a's system.

"He's not a player who would break the bank. First, he would have to show his willingness to come to Bar7a, which is what we want from all the players who might interest us, and it would have to be for a reasonable price."
