"See it later" – Real Madrid boss Arbeloa fumes at Valverde red card vs Atletico

Real Madrid manager Alvaro Arbeloa was furious with the referee's decision to show a straight red card to Federico Valverde in their 3-2 La Liga win over Atletico.

Arbeloa’s side reduced Barcelona’s lead at the top of La Liga to four points with a crucial win over local rivals Atletico Madrid.

It didn’t go entirely to plan, however, with midfielder and scorer of Real Madrid’s second goal, Valverde seeing red in the 77th minute.

The 27-year-old was sent off for a rash challenge on Alex Baena, leaving Arbeloa furious with referee Jose Luis Munuera.

After the referee made his way to the sideline to speak to Arbeloa could be heard explaining: ”You will see it later! You will see it later.”
