Crystal Palace's Maxence Lacroix replaces injured William Saliba in France squad
Crystal Palace defender Maxence Lacroix has been handed his first France call-up after William Saliba pulled out due to injury.
Saliba, 24, was called up to Didier Deschamp’s most recent France squad for their friendlies against Brazil and Colombia.
The Arsenal defender has since been forced to pull out of the squad due to an ankle injury and will remain with his club to undergo assessments.
Per journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Deschamps has handed Crystal Palace star Lacroix, 25, his first call-up as Saliba’s replacement.
