Barcelona open to Jules Kounde sale despite lengthy contract

Barcelona are reportedly looking to sell defender Jules Kounde in the summer despite his lengthy contract at the club.

The 27-year-old joined Barcelona back in 2022 when Xavi was in charge and has played a key role under Hansi Flick too.

According to Marca, Kounde is no longer considered untouchable at Barcelona, and the club are more open to selling him than ever.

Kounde signed a new contract last summer, however, tying him to the club until the summer of 2030, making a potential sale trickier.

It’s understood that Kounde has struggled to adapt to Barcelona’s high line under Flick, and the club are looking to sign a more comfortable replacement.
