Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior admits a shift in transfer policy is planned for this summer's market.

Rosenior concedes his squad needs to add more experience and know-how, with the average age currently 23.5 years.

He said, "We are building experience and this summer you will see. You see this summer.

"Right now we have these conversations, but my job is to make sure we finish the season as strong as possible. Talking about transfer plans in March is not the smartest.

"The idea is to win - this is something I, the sports directors and the ownership agree on."

Rosenior also said, "You always need balance. We talk about age, but age does not always mean experience. Andrey Santos is 21, but he has already played for Brazil and been a captain. It's not just about age.

"Wednesday night (against PSG) was difficult, but it was a great learning experience for the group and me, and if you learn from your experiences, you grow and get better.

"We will continue to fight for victories and I do not think we are as far from the goal as people think."
