Klopp lined up to succeed Nagelsmann as Germany coach
Former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is being linked with the Germany job.
Currently Red Bull's global football director, Klopp is said being lined up by the German Federation to succeed Julian Nagelsmann as national team coach after the World Cup.
BILD says Klopp is struggling in his role with Red Bull, with the organisation also acknowledging the job doesn't suit his skillset.
Instead, Klopp could offered a coaching return by the German Federation, this despite Nagelsmann's deal running to 2028.
It's understood Nagelsmann is open to a return to club football this year, so0 opening the door to Klopp's appointment.
His agent, Marc Kosicke, admitted last month: "Jurgen feels very connected to this country. The question doesn’t even arise at the moment.
"I don’t think he feels he has to do it at least once. Rather, he feels a sense of obligation, that he couldn’t always say no to the job."
