Antonio Conte expected to stay at Napoli this summer despite exit rumours

Antonio Conte is expected to remain at Napoli beyond the summer despite rumours suggesting he could leave.

The former Chelsea and Tottenham manager came close to leaving Napoli at the end of their 2024-25 Scudetto winning campaign.

Conte, 56, was persuaded to stay by owner and president Aurelio De Laurentiis, however, but has failed to recapture the form that won last season’s title.

According to La Repubblica, relayed by Calciomercato, despite rumours suggesting he may leave, Conte is expected to stay at the club.

It’s understood that he maintains a positive relationship with the squad and hierarchy, with qualification for the Champions League their main objective.
