Liverpool eye cut price deal for Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Ronald Araujo as Barcelona cut their asking price significantly.

The 27-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Barcelona due to poor form, injuries, and personal issues, starting just seven of his 16 La Liga games.

Despite all of that, Liverpool are interested in signing Araujo, with Barcelona now reducing their asking price to 330 million, according to Fichajes.

It’s understood that the reigning Premier League champions are looking to bolster their defence significantly in the summer.

Inter Milan and Bayern Munich are also keeping tabs on the Uruguay international, meaning Liverpool will have to move quickly.
