7M - USMNT Aims for Success as World Cup Approaches

With just 92 days remaining until the 2026 World Cup, the U.S. men's national team is preparing for their 11th participation in the tournament. The team, which returned to the World Cup in 1990 after a long absence, is focused on making a significant impact this summer.

Historically, the USMNT achieved its best finish in the inaugural tournament in 1930, securing a third-place finish. However, deep runs have been infrequent since then. Since 1990, they have advanced out of the group stage five times, including a quarterfinal appearance in 2002. Most recently, the team had a disappointing exit in the 2022 World Cup, getting eliminated in the Round of 16.
