Confirmed! Julian Brandt to leave Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season
Borussia Dortmund have confirmed that playmaker Julian Brandt will leave the club at the end of the season.
The 29-year-old has been in and out of the Dortmund side this season, starting 13 of his 20 Bundesliga games, scoring six goals and providing three assists.
Despite his decent form, Dortmund’s sporting director Lars Ricken has confirmed that Brandt will leave the club once his contract expires at the end of the season.
“We couldn’t agree on new deal”, he told Sky Sport, following their 2-1 Bundesliga win over FC Koln on Saturday (March 7).
