Bayern Munich secured a commanding 4-1 win over Borussia Monchengladbach at Allianz Arena on March 7, 2026. Kevin Diks played the full match but struggled to contain the relentless attacks from Bayern.

Right from the start, Bayern asserted their dominance, although early efforts were contained by Gladbach's defense. The breakthrough came in the 33rd minute when Konrad Laimer's chipped pass found Luiz Dias, whose volley found the back of the net after Diks was unable to block it.
Shortly before halftime, Bayern doubled their lead. A swift counter-attack saw Dias assist Laimer, who calmly finished past goalkeeper Moritz Nicolas. The score stood at 2-0 at the break.
In the second half, Bayern was awarded a penalty after Rocco Reitz fouled Nicolas Jackson, resulting in a red card for Reitz. Jamal Musiala converted the penalty confidently, extending Bayern's lead in the 57th minute.
Bayern added a fourth goal in the 79th minute when Lenart Karl's run down the right led to a close-range finish from Jackson. Although Gladbach managed to score a consolation goal through Wael Mohya in the 89th minute, it did little to alter the outcome.
Diks completed 90 minutes but registered only two successful tackles and three clearances, without making any interceptions. This victory cements Bayern's position at the top of the Bundesliga table with 66 points, a comfortable 14 points ahead of Borussia Dortmund.
