Bayern Munich chief Dreesen discusses Neuer, Kane futures

Bayern Munich chief exec Jan-Christian Dreesen has discussed the futures of senior pair Manuel Neuer and Harry Kane.

On Neuer's future, Dreesen stated new contract talks were planned.

He said: "He's a legend of this club. 0The captain will turn 40 in March. It's clear we'll talk . And we've also agreed that we'll discuss the future calmly in the second quarter.

"He's currently delivering exceptional performances, at an incredible level. Without a doubt, he remains one of the best goalkeepers in the world."

Dreesen also spoke about Kane's situation: "We will calmly assess Kane's situation during the second half of the season , naturally before the start of the next one."

He was optimistic about the possibility of extending their partnership, currently agreed until 2027: "Everything indicates that Harry is very happy here. We are very pleased with him."
