Manchester City are exploring a move for Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior this summer.

However, any deal for the Brazil attacker will hinge on the future of manager Pep Guardiola at City.

Vinicius' contract with Real Madrid expires in 2027, and while an extension has become more likely after the departure of former coach Xabi Alonso, it is still not within reach due to financial differences.

A situation that, besides the Saudi clubs, has also caught the attention of Manchester City.

Sport says City are in contact with Vinicius' camp and have urged him to pull out of negotiations with Real over a new deal.

However, City's push is closely linked to the future of Guardiola, whose contract also runs until 2027. Vini is understood to not fit into the Catalan's system. But a change of manager could firm up the Vini transfer.
