Barcelona have reportedly made a definitive decision on Marcus Rashford's future, with the club prioritising converting his loan into a permanent move. After extensive internal talks, Deco and the Barcelona board are said to have approved moving forward with a 35 million buy option to secure Rashford from Manchester United. Rashford's 10 goals in 34 appearances this season have strengthened the case for a long-term contract.

A high-level meeting between Deco and Rashford's representative, Arturo Canales, helped outline a roadmap toward a contract that could run to 2030. The turnover would also see Rashford agreeing to a reduced salary to facilitate the deal, a gesture interpreted within the dressing room as a strong sign of intent.
