Ronaldo opens up on future plans after firing Al Nassr top of SPL table
Cristiano Ronaldo has declared his happiness at Al-Nassr.
The Manchester United and Real Madrid legend has sat out the past two Saudi Pro League games in protest against the lack of financial backing Al-Nassr received from the Public Investment Fund in comparison to Al-Hilal for last month's transfer window.
Ronaldo was back as team captain for the match against Al Fateh and ended his absence by scoring in the 2–0 victory.0 Then yesterday, he scored twice in the 4-0 win against Al Hazem, sending Al Nassr top of the SPL table.
He has since spoken about his plans, telling Thmanyah: "I am very happy to be here, I have said that many times. I feel like I belong in Saudi Arabia.
"The country has received me, my family and my friends in a very good way. I feel comfortable here and want to continue here.
"The most important thing is that we continue to push in the fight for the league title. We are at the top and doing our job by winning matches and putting pressure on the competitors. Then we will see how it ends when the season is over."
