Nicolas Jackson has sparked widespread attention online for an unusual off-pitch moment captured in Munich.

The Chelsea forward, 24, wasn't making headlines for a spectacular goal, standout performance, or on-field incident involving Bayern Munich this time.

Instead, the striker has gone viral after being filmed strolling through heavy snow without a shirt, dressed only in a pair of shorts.

The brief clip shows Jackson walking down a residential street lined with houses and parked vehicles.

Snow has completely covered the cars at the roadside, with more flakes falling rapidly onto the topless Chelsea man as he casually continues his walk.

He is filmed from behind, wearing a hat, headphones, shorts, and shoes, seemingly unbothered by the freezing conditions while out for a wander.

Fans were quick to flood the comments with references to his teammate Cole Palmer, who has earned a reputation for his own apparent tolerance to cold temperatures.

One fan commented: "Palmer teaching him how to face the cold."

Another wrote: "You can tell he's missing Cold Palmer."

A further social media user added: "Man searching for Cole Palmer assist in Munich."

Even Jackson's own teammates appeared baffled by the footage.

Wesley Fofana reshared the video to his Instagram story, captioning it: "What are you doing bro?" alongside several laughing emojis.

The striker is expected to return to Chelsea this summer, with Bayern unlikely to activate the purchase clause included in his loan deal.

However, Joao Pedro and Liam Delap are both set to remain at Stamford Bridge, while Emanuel Emegha will also join from Strasbourg ahead of next season.

This suggests the Blues may look to offload Jackson on a permanent basis regardless.

Jackson joined the Bundesliga side on loan at the start of the season in a deal worth £14.3 million.

An agreement was reached that would see the temporary move become permanent if he made 40 appearances of at least 45 minutes each, in a transfer worth £56.2 million.

However, Jackson has featured in only 22 matches so far during his time in Germany.

Eight of those appearances have exceeded the 45-minute threshold, with the striker netting five goals across those outings.
