Cubarsi: Barcelona do not need to sign Bastoni

Barcelona defender Pau Cubarsi insists they do not need Alessandro Bastoni.

While a fan of the Inter Milan centre-half, Cubarsi insists there's no reason for Barca to try to buy the Italy international this summer.

He told Mundo Deportivo: "He's spectacular. I've only seen him play a few times, but we all know his level, even if it also depends on the attackers.

"We're very happy with our defenders, though; they're spectacular."

On Barca's chances in the Champions League, Cubarsi added: "We want the fans to be with us, because we will fight until the end to win it, as we always have, and we will try to bring home the Champions League and every title possible, so that everyone is happy and we can celebrate a great season."
