Man United and Real Madrid battle it out for German wonderkid

Man United and Real Madrid are reportedly ready to go head-to-head in the race to sign German wonderkid Kennet Eichhorn.

The 16-year-old is enjoying a breakout season at Hertha Berlin in the 2. Bundesliga, starting ten of his 12 league games.

According to BILD, both Man United and Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Eichhorn follow his fine start to his short career.

Eichhorn is currently out with an ankle injury picked up in mid-January and isn’t expected to return until the end of February.

Unsurprisingly, Bayern Munich are also said to be very interested in the defensive midfielder ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
