Inter defeated 10-man Juventus 3-2 at San Siro, with Piotr Zielinski scoring a 90th-minute winner to extend their lead to eight points atop Serie A.

The first half saw Andrea Cambiaso score at both ends, deflecting Luis Henrique's cross into his own net in the 17th minute. However, he quickly redeemed himself with a side-footed finish from Weston McKennie's cross.
Juventus faced a setback when Pierre Kalulu received a second yellow card just before halftime for a foul on Alessandro Bastoni, forcing them to play the entire second half with ten men.
Inter took the lead when substitute Francesco Pio Esposito headed in Federico Dimarco's cross in the 76th minute. Juventus leveled the match in the 83rd minute, as Manuel Locatelli slotted a brilliant finish into the bottom-left corner.
However, Zielinski sealed the win for Inter with a powerful 20-yard shot that found its way through Locatelli's legs to beat Michele Di Gregorio.
Data Debrief: Inter Solidify Lead
This victory increased Inter's advantage over rivals AC Milan, who will face Como midweek. Juventus risks falling out of the top four if Roma can secure points against Napoli on Sunday.
The last four Serie A clashes between Inter and Juventus have seen a total of 21 goals, averaging 5.25 per match, compared to just nine in the previous six meetings.
Cambiaso made history as the first player to score and own goal in a Derby d'Italia match, but Zielinski's fifth goal of the season proved to be pivotal. Inter's dominance was reflected with 21 shots and an expected goals (xG) tally of 1.88, while Juventus managed 10 shots but only 0.92 xG, with six of their attempts coming while they were down a player.
