Laura Woods Trolls Richard Keys Over Outdated Social Media Post – 'Eventually You'll Be Right'

Laura Woods has brutally trolled Richard Keys after the former Sky Sports presenter posted an outdated opinion on social media.

On Thursday, the beIN Sports presenter took to X to share his views on Sean Dyche's precarious position as Nottingham Forest manager, following the Tricky Trees' failure to beat bottom-of-the-table Wolves and ease pressure on their relegation battle. In a widely held take, Keys suggested that Forest should part ways with Dyche, writing: "If Dyche does today, would anyone be surprised?"

The blunder prompted Woods to momentarily shift focus from her previous criticism of Eni Aluko and take aim at Keys once more.

Replying to his post, she joked: "If you keep saying managers are going to get the sack I guess eventually you'll be right."

Woods was far from alone in mocking Keys, as several other users also joined in on the fun. One user remarked: "Can't wait to hear his thoughts on the introduction of VAR to the Premier League."

A second added: "Wait until he hears about the pass-back rule!" While another chimed in: "Wait 'til he hears Clough has gone."

Woods' latest social media comments follow her previous scathing remarks about Keys, after he weighed in on Gabby Logan's career following the death of her father, Leeds United legend Terry Yorath. At the time, Woods didn't hold back, branding him a "t***".

Keys had posted on X: "Sad to hear the news of Terry Yorath's passing. He was a warrior and won fans over wherever he played. He was great for us at Coventry and the reason I got Gabby a job at Sky. I had no idea who she was when we met but I knew her dad. RIP Terry. Your daughter did you proud."

Woods made her feelings clear, joining a host of social media users in condemning what many saw as a self-serving tribute. "Sorry… but what a t***. Said with zero surprise," she wrote.

Keys was dismissed by Sky Sports and left the UK to work for beIN Sports in the Middle East alongside Andy Gray in 2013. The 68-year-old is expected to return to the UK once his contract expires this summer.
