Benjamin Sesko's last-minute goal salvaged a 1-1 draw for Manchester United against West Ham United in the Premier League, ending the Hammers' streak of four consecutive home meetings without defeat against the Red Devils.

The hosts started the match in solid form, with Jarrod Bowen glancing a header wide from a Crysencio Summerville cross, and shortly after, a curling effort from Summerville was saved by United's Senne Lammens.

Michael Carrick's side pressed for opportunities, with Harry Maguire heading wide from a corner and Luke Shaw's chance from a low Bruno Fernandes delivery being cleared off the line by Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

As the first half progressed, clear chances became scarce. Axel Disasi thwarted a Fernandes through ball aimed for Casemiro, while Diogo Dalot narrowly beat Taty Castellanos to a Wan-Bissaka cross. Dalot nearly turned the tide for West Ham when he overplayed in a dangerous area, yet Amad Diallo hit the side netting from a tight angle soon after.

The second half saw West Ham take the lead quickly, with Tomas Soucek assisting Bowen, who flicked the ball through Lammens' legs to score.

United felt they had equalized in the 63rd minute when Casemiro headed home Kobbie Mainoo's cross, but the goal was ruled offside. Bowen's subsequent ambitious attempt was deflected behind, but the Red Devils regained momentum with Sesko testing West Ham's Mads Hermansen from distance.

Late in the match, Soucek blocked a curling shot from Bryan Mbeumo, and Joshua Zirkzee glanced a header wide, as West Ham fought vigorously in the closing moments. However, in a dramatic finish, Sesko expertly flicked Mbeumo's cross into the top corner in the 96th minute, extending Manchester United's unbeaten league run to nine games and keeping them in fourth place, although this ended their four-game winning streak.

While West Ham has lost only once in their last six matches across all competitions, they now sit two points behind Nottingham Forest, having played one more game.
