Harry Maguire set for new Man Utd deal after Carrick revival
Harry Maguire is increasingly likely to sign a new contract with Manchester United after reviving his career under interim boss Michael Carrick.
The England defender’s current deal expires this summer, but recent performances have strengthened his case for an extension.
Maguire has formed a solid centre-back partnership with Lisandro MartDnez, earning regular minutes following Matthijs de Ligt’s injury.
According to the Daily Mail, United are now expected to reward the 32-year-old with a new deal, with discussions focused on finding common ground over wages and contract length.
The Englishman, who earns around 3180,000 per week, is keen to remain at Old Trafford, where he arrived in 2019 in an 380 million move from Leicester City.
He has made 260 appearances for the club, winning the Carabao Cup in 2023 and the FA Cup in 2024. Despite interest from AC Milan and Saudi side Al-Qadsiah, United are hopeful of securing his future.
