The couple, who married in June 2017, have confirmed their marriage is over, despite trying to rekindle their relationship last January. Morata, currently on loan with Como from AC Milan, expressed the emotional strain of their split, stating, "We are suffering because we are two people who love each other, but we don't understand each other."

He clarified, "Alice isn't having a worse time than me because many people say she's the one who's hurting. I want to make it clear that we're both hurting; it's not that she's bitter, we're both hurting."

There have been indications that Morata has moved out of the family home shared with Campello and their four young children—Alessandro, Leonardo, Edoardo, and Bella. Nevertheless, they have maintained a cordial relationship for the sake of their kids.

Morata also addressed rumors regarding his alleged affair with sports management expert Elena Sirigu, stating, "No special friend or anything like that, I'm not interested in that right now. People who claim there are third parties involved in a separation like this, especially with children, simply have no heart."

Campello has also denied any claims of infidelity on Morata's part. The couple initially separated in August 2024, shortly after Morata's contribution to Spain's victory over England in the Euro 2024 final.

Throughout his impressive career, Morata has secured two Champions League titles and league championships in Spain, Italy, and Turkey, while netting 24 goals during his time at Chelsea, where he won the FA Cup and Europa League.
