Stunning Bikini Model Denies Kylian Mbappe 'Pregnancy Scheme' Following Split from Football Star

A Belgian bikini model was previously alleged to be involved in a purported "pregnancy scheme" with then-Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe.
Rose Bertram was formerly the partner of Dutch right-back Gregory Van der Wiel, who also played for PSG. The couple shared two children, but their relationship began to deteriorate when Van der Wiel, then 34, started experiencing mental health challenges including anxiety and panic attacks.
The model ended her relationship with the Dutch international in July 2022, concluding their eight-year partnership. Merely two months later, she was rumored to be romantically involved with then 23-year-old French superstar Mbappe.
Subsequently, however, accusations emerged suggesting that Rose, then 27, was attempting to conceive a child with the French footballer to "secure her financial future." These allegations, propagated by controversial Lyon-based celebrity blogger Aqababe, led to her becoming a target of online harassment.
Choosing to address the situation, Rose took to social media to refute the claims. The model stated she does not typically engage with gossip or rumors but felt a boundary had been violated.
“Over the past few weeks, falsehoods about me have been circulated, causing significant harm to my family, myself, and my close ones,” she expressed. “2023 has begun for me with hatred and cyberbullying. Unfortunately, this paints a grim picture of what our world is becoming. Nothing that has been alleged, written, or claimed holds any truth whatsoever.”
“The truth cannot come from a stranger who knows nothing about my life and hides behind a screen. The most distressing part is that people are believing this absurdity, despite the complete lack of evidence or proof, while so many lies are spread to tarnish my image and reputation.”
“In a world obsessed with views, clicks, and likes, we sometimes forget that we are human beings, and cyberbullying can, sadly, ruin lives. I felt compelled to speak out because if we remain silent and allow everyone to say whatever they wish, we may start to accept it as normal. Many others are facing similar situations, and this is simply malicious.”
“To my loyal family, friends, and followers, I deeply value your support. Spread truth, spread love, and be kind—because in the end, love will always triumph.”
Long before being known as a footballer's partner, Rose had achieved fame and success independently. Signed to a modeling agency at just 13, her career has included leading campaigns for major global brands such as H&M, L'Oreal, Primark, and Agent Provocateur.
Beyond her striking blonde appearance, Rose once shared in an interview: “I recall when I started, people often told me it would never work out. They said I’d never land major jobs because I wasn’t tall enough and didn’t have the extremely slim, high-fashion body type.”
“It’s crucial to provide opportunities for girls who aren’t tall, who have curves, and who are different. This shows how fashion is evolving—now it’s all about individuality.”
The Sports Illustrated model added: “My personal style is more tomboyish; I’m not a dress person. I prefer ripped T-shirts and jeans, thigh-high boots, and loose shirts.”
