Yildiz delighted with new Juventus contract

Kenan Yildiz is delighted with his new contract at Juventus.

The 20 year-old has signed a new deal to 2030.

Although Yildiz was still tied to Juventus until mid-2029 and an extension was not necessarily necessary from that point of view, the club wanted to reward him for his spectacular development.

According to Italian media, Yildiz's net annual salary will immediately increase from 1.7 million euros net to 6 million euros net. From next season his salary will increase further, to seven million euros net per year.

This will make him the highest-paid Juventus player from 2026/27, as Dusan Vlahovic, who is on the payroll for no less than twelve million euros, will leave on a free transfer after this season.

Yildiz himself announced the news at a press conference on Saturday, before coach Luciano Spalletti started his talk for Sunday's home match against Lazio.

"I love Juventus," said the 26-time international. "When I got here I knew we could achieve great things. I'm sure the fans, the club and the family will always be behind me. Thank you."
