Bayern Munich CEO Max Eberl opened up on the club's reported interest in Tottenham loanee Luka Vuskovic.

The 18-year-old has been a revelation since joining Bundesliga side Hamburg on loan from Tottenham last summer.

Vuskovic recently scored the equaliser in Hamburg’s 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich, and the Tottenham loanee is reportedly drawing interest from the Bavarians.

Ebrel, however, refused to be drawn into speculation surrounding the youngster, and insisted Bayern are focussed on extending Dayot Upamecano’s contract first.

“First, we have to sort our own internal transfer,” he said.

“Once that’s done, we’ll have a high-quality centre-back. That doesn’t mean Vuskovic isn’t a good player. He’s having an outstanding season.

“He belongs to Tottenham Hotspur. Bayern also have very good centre backs in Jonathan Tah, Upamecano, and Kim Min-jae

“We can’t sign every good player that the public thinks should be at FC Bayern,” Eberl continued.

“A very good player. No question. But our main focus is on internal transfers, and that’s well known.”
