Atletico Madrid consider Diego Simeone SACK after remarkable 15-year spell

Atletico Madrid are reportedly considering Diego Simeone's future after an incredible 15-year spell at the club.

The 55-year-old is arguably the greatest manager in Atletico Madrid history, leading them to two La Liga titles, two Europa Leagues, and a Copa del Rey, among other trophies.

According to Spanish outlet Sport, despite all of that, the club are considering whether they should part ways with Simeone or not.

It’s understood that Simeone has a strained relationship with new director of football Mateu Alemany, who is keen to part ways.

Alemany is already said to have started the process of finding a successor and has targeted Bournemouth's Andoni Iraola.
