Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate reemerges as Real Madrid target
Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate has reportedly reemerged as a target for Spanish giants Real Madrid.
The 26-year-old’s Liverpool contract is set to expire at the end of the season with little indication he will sign a new one.
He rejected Liverpool’s most recent contract offer and as things stand will leave Anfield as a free agent.
Konate was previously a target for Real Madrid, but it was reported that last summer the La Liga side had moved on to other targets.
According to journalist Matteo Morreto, the Liverpool defender has now reemerged as a target ahead of the summer window.
