Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has been awarded the Premier League Player of the Matchweek for Matchweek 24 following an impressive performance against Fulham. This marks the fourth consecutive week that a Manchester United player has received the accolade, with team-mates Patrick Dorgu, Bruno Fernandes, and Benjamin Sesko winning in the previous weeks.
In the thrilling 3-2 victory over Fulham, the 33-year-old showcased his skills by scoring the opener with a header from Fernandes' free-kick and providing a brilliant no-look pass to assist Matheus Cunha's goal. Casemiro also excelled in duels, winning seven out of nine.
With five goals in the Premier League this season, Casemiro is approaching his best-ever scoring record, having netted six during the 2020/21 season at Real Madrid. He garnered 51 percent of the fan vote in Matchweek 24, claiming the award for the first time, while Liverpool's Hugo Ekitike finished second with 17 percent.
This achievement marks the ninth time a Manchester United player has been recognized as Player of the Matchweek in the 2025/26 season, with notable performances from Harry Maguire, Bryan Mbeumo, and others contributing to their success.
