Chelsea outcast Axel Disasi set for West Ham loan

Chelsea defender Axel Disasi is set to join London rivals West Ham on loan for the rest of the season.

The last remaining member of Chelsea infamous summer ‘bomb squad’, Disasi has been exiled from the first team since the start of the season.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the 27-year-old will finally get a chance to revive his career with a loan move to West Ham.

It had been reported that several Serie A sides, including Roma and AC Milan were keen on Disasi but decided against making the move.

Disasi has already undergone his medical at West Ham with the deal submitted just before the January transfer deadline.
