Juventus threaten Palace plans for Villa attacker Guessand

Juventus are threatening Crystal Palace's plans for Evan Guessand.

TMW says Palace are in advanced talks with Aston Villa for the versatile attacker.

Palace see Guessand as a potential replacement for Jean-Philippe Mateta, who has been interesting Juve this month.

However, Guessand is also on the Bianconeri's radar and this morning they made contact with Villa to ask for an update on the situation.

While Palace are further down the road in negotiations, Juve declaring their interest today could turn Guessand's head.

Significantly, however, Juve's interest in Mateta began to wane over the wages rivals Nottingham Forest are offering the Frenchman. Intermediaries believe Palace could do the same regarding Guessand.
