Katie Price's Private Confession About Ex-Liverpool Star John Arne Riise's Bedroom Antics

Katie Price recently made headlines after a whirlwind wedding in Dubai to Lee Andrews, mere days after their first meeting. While the 47-year-old former glamour model may count this as one of her happiest moments, it’s unlikely to erase the memory of a far more infamous encounter with ex-Liverpool defender John Arne Riise—an experience she recalls for all the wrong reasons.

In her memoir, Reborn, Price vividly described the Norwegian footballer, renowned for his powerful left foot, as resembling a "cordless drill" during their intimate moments. The pair were briefly involved in late 2011 and early 2012, while Riise was playing for Fulham.

Her account in the book was notably unforgiving. “If I’d needed a shelving unit erected, he’d have been perfect,” she quipped. “Instead of handling me gently and passionately like most women want, he was like a cordless drill on a multi-speed setting! He reminded me of a red Bosch that I have in my garage.”

Price went on to detail, “Bang... bang... bang, bang, bang. At one point I panicked, thinking, 'S***, if he doesn’t stop soon, I'm going to be permanently attached to the bed!' Mr X wasn't having sex with me, he was having sex at me.”

Initially referred to only as “Mr X” in her writing, Riise’s identity was later exposed by a national newspaper in 2016. The report stated, “John Arne Riise is Katie’s mystery Mr X. He had always fancied Katie and jumped at the chance to be introduced to her. She took more persuading as he really wasn’t her type but after a while they started hooking up for a few months.”

According to the source, Price ended the short-lived fling after learning Riise—who won the FA Cup and League Cup during his Liverpool career—was seen getting close to other women. “Katie suspected he wasn’t really that into her after a friend spotted him out and about looking cosy with another woman. She was hardly besotted with him so she called it off,” an insider revealed.

Riise later married Louise Angelica in 2014, though the couple reportedly divorced in 2021. He retired from professional football in 2017, only to briefly return in 2023 for one appearance—and even score a goal—for Avaldsnes, where he also managed the women’s team.
