Toulouse turn down Brighton bid for defender Charlie Cresswell

Toulouse have reportedly rejected an offer from Brighton for defender Charlie Cresswell.

The 23-year-old has established himself as one of the best young defenders in Ligue 1 having made the switch from Leeds back in 2024.

Cresswell has played a key role for Toulouse so far this season, starting in all 19 of their league games, popping up with three goals.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Cresswell has caught the attention of Brighton, but Toulouse have rejected their 320 million offer.

It’s understood that the French side have no intention of selling Cresswell this month, with Wolfsburg also interested in the centre back.
