Guido released from West Ham contract; in Valencia for medical

Guido Rodriguez is ready to sign for Valencia today.

The Argentina midfielder has had his contract with West Ham terminated and is today in Valencia.

Guido, formerly of Real Betis, is set for a medical at Valencia's HQ ahead of signing a Los Che contract.

He told reporters at the Manises Airport: "I've come to contribute, I'm eager to meet the group, my teammates.

"Valencia, I think words are unnecessary, is a very big club that has achieved many things, and well, we've come here to work.

"Thankfully, it worked out; we were all pushing from our respective positions , and the important thing is that I'm here today."

Guido, should everything remain on track, will make his Valencia debut this coming Sunday against Betis.

He added, "I saw it, obviously I saw the schedule, it's going to be something very special for me, so well, we'll get through it."
