The latest addition to Persib Bandung, Layvin Marc Kurzawa, voiced his eagerness to make an immediate impact alongside the Blue Prince. This ex-Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) full-back views Persib as the optimal selection for advancing his pro football journey.
Kurzawa has formally linked up with Persib through the conclusion of the current campaign. He stressed that this choice stemmed completely from his personal desire, free from any external pressure.

"It's entirely my own call. Persib represents the top option for myself and my professional path," Kurzawa stated following the deal with Persib's executives, as cited on the team's official site on Monday, January 26, 2026.
The 33-year-old athlete confessed that he perceives his transfer to Bandung as an exciting fresh challenge. He's impatient to quickly immerse himself in the vibe of Indonesian soccer right on the pitch.
"This marks a novel venture, and I'm highly excited to arrive and compete here," he remarked.
Persib's prestigious status as the reigning title holders, its standing across Asia, and the fervent backing from Bobotoh served as primary elements fueling Kurzawa's drive. He anticipates that his arrival will deliver beneficial effects to the roster led by Bojan Hodak.
"I aim to assist the group, contribute my skills, and demonstrate my true capabilities to them," supplemented the athlete who previously visited Indonesia on a family holiday back in 2018.
Boasting extensive background in top-tier European leagues, Kurzawa is anticipated to enhance the strength and caliber of Persib's backline as they tackle the rest of this season's fixtures.
