Al Ahly sports director confirms Abdelkarim joining Barcelona
Al Ahly sports director Walid Salah El-Din has confirmed Hamza Abdelkarim is on his way to Barcelona.
Terms have now been settled between the two clubs, with the 18 year-old striker set for a medical in Barcelona ahead of signing forms.
El-Din told Mundo Deportivo: "Yes, Hamza Abdelkarim goes to Barcelona.
"I wish him every success so he can continue his career there, establish himself with Bar7a and not return to Egypt."
Abdelkarim will join Barca Atletic on-loan to the end of the season with an option to buy in June.
Despite his youth, Abdelkarim has made nine senior appearances for Al Ahly,
