Rennes inform Chelsea of Jacquet decision as Liverpool and Bayern enter race

Rennes have reportedly told Chelsea they have no intention of selling Jeremy Jacquet this month as Liverpool and Bayern Munich enter the race.

Chelsea have been in talks with Rennes over a deal for Jacquet, 20, over the past week but are yet to reach an agreement with the club.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Rennes have now informed the Premier League side that they have no intention of selling the defender this January.

Chelsea are still pushing to make the deal happen, however, with a summer move looking more likely at the moment.

Liam Rosenior’s side may have a harder time of signing Jacquet with Liverpool and Bayern Munich also interested in the youngster.
