Chelsea are reportedly lining up a shock move for Man United defender Harry Maguire.

Liam Rosenior’s side seem intent on adding a new centre back this January with talks ongoing over a move for Rennes ace Jeremy Jacquet.

According to Caught Offside, another surprise name has been brought up, Man United’s Maguire, 32.

The England international’s contract at Old Trafford is set to expire at the end of the season with no current talks over an extension.

The report also adds that Chelsea are looking to abandon their youth first transfer policy and intend to sign a more experienced player like Maguire.
