Layvin Kurzawa has officially signed with Indonesian club Persib Bandung, marking a new phase in his career after leaving Portuguese side Boavista last summer. The 33-year-old left-back was unveiled in a grand ceremony on Sunday evening, greeted by hundreds of eager supporters at the stadium.
Persib Bandung warmly welcomed their high-profile addition, posting on social media: "He knows Paris, but now his home is Paris van Java. Welcome to Bandung, Layvin Kurzawa." The nickname "Paris van Java" refers to Bandung's historical moniker, underscoring the symbolic transition in Kurzawa's journey.
This season, Kurzawa will also compete in the AFC Champions League with Persib, offering his European top-flight experience—including time at Paris Saint-Germain—as the club seeks to strengthen its presence on the continental stage.
