Spurs suffer setback in Robertson pursuit
Tottenham's hopes of landing Liverpool defender Andy Robertson have taken a significant blow after Reds boss Arne Slot, speaking after the 3-2 defeat by Bournemouth, revealed that he wasn’t willing to let any of his players leave. Asked whether he wanted Robertson to stay, the Dutchman said: "I think I need all my players. Robbo had to come in at half-time, in my opinion. I always knew that for Milos Kerkez, another 90 minutes against a very intense Bournemouth side was not a possibility for him, so I knew I would have to bring Robertson in."
Chelsea keeping tabs on PSG attacking starlet
Chelsea are among a number of Premier League clubs closely monitoring Paris Saint-Germain's teenage winger Ibrahim Mbaye, following his eye-catching performances at the recent Africa Cup of Nations. The 18-year-old has emerged as one of Europe's most exciting prospects, but PSG are determined to retain their rising star.
Arsenal told Alvarez price tag
Arsenal will have to pay north of £80 million (€91.9m/$100.8m) if they want to sign Atletico Madrid star Julian Alvarez, according to Football Insider.
The Gunners signed Viktor Gyokeres this past summer but have since been linked with the former Manchester City forward, who has a contract with Atletico until 2030.
Maignan agrees new AC Milan contract
Mike Maignan has agreed to extend his spell with AC Milan by signing a new contract, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The France international's contract was due to run out later this year but a deal has been struck, with Maignan signing fresh terms until 2031.
Robertson included in Liverpool squad
Andy Robertson has been named in Liverpool's squad for their clash with Bournemouth on Saturday night.
The left-back has been targeted by Tottenham in recent days and is named on the bench by manager Arne Slot, with summer signing Milos Kerkez retaining his place in the starting XI.
Liverpool eye Robertson replacement
Liverpool are keen on Fulham and USMNT star Antonee Robinson, according to TEAMtalk.
The Reds are in talks with Tottenham over the transfer of stalwart left-back Andy Robertson and could move for Robinson as the Scot's replacement.
Dro to PSG almost done
Dro Fernandez's transfer from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain is almost complete, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The youngster, who came through La Masia, is expected to move to France for a little more than his €6 million (£5m/$6.3m) release clause.
Chelsea 'make Mastantuono offer'
Chelsea have made an offer to take Real Madrid youngster Franco Mastantuono on loan for the rest of the season, according to Fichajes.
However, TEAMtalk claim it is unlikely that the Spanish giants will let the 18-year-old leave this month.
Traore set for West Ham switch
Adama Traore and West Ham have agreed terms on a deal that will see the winger swap Fulham for the Hammers until the end of the current campaign, reports Nicolo Schira.
Adama has struggled for game time with the Cottagers this season, and is set to move from west to east London before the transfer window closes at the start of February.
West Ham also have an option to extend the Spaniard's contract until June 2028.
City or United for Anderson?
Manchester United believe that midfield target Elliot Anderson prefers a move to Manchester City this summer, reports The I.
Anderson has shone for Nottingham Forest this season and is expected to be subject to a transfer tug-of-war between the Manchester giants as the pair look to revamp their respective midfields.
However, United feel that the England star would favour a switch to the Etihad Stadium over Old Trafford at the end of the season.
Trent has NOT been urged to leave Real Madrid
Trent Alexander-Arnold has not been urged to leave Real Madrid and find a new club at the end of the season despite reports from Spain suggesting otherwise, claims the Daily Mail.
The right-back moved to Real Madrid from Liverpool over the summer. However, the 27-year-old has started just five league matches in an injury-hit debut campaign at the Bernabeu.
And Alexander-Arnold had reportedly been told by head coach Alvaro Arbeloa to leave the club later this year as result, though that doesn't appear to be the case.
Deal fee for Robertson revealed
The deal to take Andy Robertson from Liverpool to Tottenham this month would be a £5m package, according to Sky Sports.
Tottenham have emerged as a surprise destination for the Scot, whose current deal expires in the summer.
However, Ben Davies' season-ending ankle injury saw Spurs accelerate their interest in Robertson.
Crystal Palace identify Guehi replacement
Crystal Palace are considering a January move for Chelsea defender Josh Acheampong as a replacement for Marc Guehi, according to Sky Sports.
Guehi completed his move to Manchester City in the week, and the Eagles are in the market for a new centre-back, with Acheampong a potential target.
Juventus close in on Mateta alternative
Juventus are closing in on the signing of striker Youssef En-Nesyri, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Serie A powerhouse have been heavily linked with a move for Crystal Palace hitman Jean-Philippe Mateta. However, Juventus failed to agree terms with the Eagles for the France international, and instead turned their attention to Fenerbahce forward En-Nesyri.
The Old Lady are expected to confirm the Moroccan's arrival over the weekend.
