AGREED? Barcelona reach deal with Al Ahly for Abdelkarim

Barcelona's deal for Al Ahly starlet Hamza Abdelkarim remains on track.

The teenage striker has been the subject of negotiations between the two clubs since before Christmas.

For his part, Abdelkarim has settled personal terms with Barca for several weeks.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona finalised all the details of his signing yesterday and it is expected to be announced in the coming days.

The player will arrive for just under €3m, with add-ons potentially bringing the total to €5m. The 18 year-old will initially join Barca Atletic.

Abdelkarim turned 18 on New Year's Day, so clearing him to move to Europe.
