Liverpool to recall on-loan defender IF Robertson joins Tottenham

Liverpool will reportedly recall Konstantinos Tsimikas from his loan at Roma if they decide to sell Andrew Robertson to Tottenham.

Spurs are in talks with Liverpool over a surprise move for the Scotland international as the North London club’s busy January continues.

Robertson, 31, recently came out and said that he wants to remain at Liverpool but that he's a player "who wants to play".

According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool will recall Tsimikas from his season long loan at Roma should Robertson’s move go through.

The 29-year-old has started just four of his 11 Serie A games so far this season, and Roma have given their green light to let him leave.
