Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has opened the door to a potential exit for star striker Jean-Philippe Mateta.

The 28-year-old is understood to be pushing for a move away from Selhurst Park, with clubs in England and Europe interested.

Mateta has once again been a key player for Palace, scoring ten goals and providing two assists in his 33 games so far this season.

Speaking ahead of their game with Chelsea on Sunday, Glasner revealed that Mateta is yet to hand in a transfer request, but admitted every player has a price.

"No bid has come in and he hasn't handed in a transfer request and he will play Sunday. That's the situation,” he said.

“I'll repeat what I said two weeks ago - for every player there is a price where a club say okay. We evaluate the whole situation - age, contract duration and a price."
